Chanderkhani Trek
Chanderkhani is ruling the region of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh at the height of 3660 meters above sea. This breathtaking Chanderkhani Pass trek is an amalgamation of jaw-dropping sights and the thrilling mountains alongside the gorgeous environs of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh is known for its scenic mountain towns and old-school vintage villages untouched from the modernization and the urbanization of the city life. If you wish to experience the heritage and the beauty of the place, Chanderkhani pass trek would be an exceedingly rare opportunity to offer you all in one experience.
Chanderkhani pass is a heaven for nature lovers as it is bedecked with the beautiful flower beds, vast stretches of dense forests of Pine, Oak and Birch. The flower beds cover the pass with a colorful carpet. The trail for Chanderkhani Pass actually starts from the Rumsu village which is a tribal village with beautiful temples, walls of which are made out of carvings in wood and surrounded by the tall and sacred Deodar trees.
One would witness the heritage village, which has recently been urbanized. Houses here are made with wood and stone which are interesting to see in the rural architecture. The ascend from Rumsu leads you to the sudden shift in the scenery as you see meadows of Stelling and Ghon Kradi which are perfect locations for putting up the tents amidst the panoramic views. As you go up the trail, the whole of the Beas valley opens up to you. You begin to see the Dhauladar Range beyond the Beas valley in all its snowcapped glory. The terrain leading uphill is slightly steep and worth taking up the challenge as you forget the fatigue and discomfort with the beautiful views greeting you at the summit.
If you’re craving for a Himalayan adventure, but have only a handful of days to spare, head to the Chanderkhani Pass without hesitation. If you still want some thrills and adventure
then you may do white water rafting and Paragliding in Kullu.
