Overnight Camping & Trek to Thanale Caves

We would like to take this opportunity of introducing ourselves as a modern campsite with amenities to suit the needs of today’s corporate client. About 100 km away from both Mumbai and Pune, situated near the villages of Navghar and Pedli on the Khopoli-Pali –Adlabs Imajica – Road, the campsite sits next to Kondgaon Dam in a valley filled with thick woods in 3 acre land.

Kondgaon is a small village situated not far from Khopoli. Far from the madding crowd of the city, this little hamlet is the perfect retreat to unwind after a long week at work. The Thanale Caves are a group of 23 Buddhist caves dating back to the 1^st Century B.C., located in Sudhagad in Raigad, 18 km from Pali. We shall camp under the scintillating night sky in a forested area near this quaint little village. Take in nature at its unspoiled best, relish the local home cooked food and hang out with the locals. Kondgaon will not disappoint!

Brief about the campsite

Basic Facilities: There are seven Canvas tents on our campsite, pitched on platforms. Each tent, of size 14’ x 14’ x 9’, covered by bricks wall of 18” height & small door for safety purpose, camp cots, sleeping mats cover with bed sheet, sleeping bags & pillows. Capacity: 5-6 persons per tent. For larger groups, dome Nylon tents on a triple/quad sharing basis could be arranged additionally with advance notice.

Simple vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is prepared in separate kitchens by a dedicated cooking team. Based on a client’s requirement and the number of people in a group we can customize the menu. Barbeque facility available at site.

One big Hall, one wooden open Gazebo for Review session, big Dining hall at site. There are Three common toilet blocks, Each toilet block has Indian & Western style toilets, bathrooms, with running water.
