Looking for an escape? We have a perfect one for you! The Himalayan winter trek of Kedarkantha is one such amazing experience for beginners who wish to get the best views without much hustle and hard work. The field of vision which the place has in store is just incomparable compared to the efforts which one might put to complete the trek.
The paranoma of the remote villages, vast stretches of meadows, snowcapped mountain peaks is sure to give birth to the new photographer in you! Kedarkantha lies in the Govind National Park of Western Garhwal in Uttarakhand. The summit to the Kedarkantha peak is challenging and rewarding all at the same time. The most mighty peaks of Swargarohini, Banderpooch, and Ranglana are sure to leave you speechless once you reach the mountain top of the Kedarkantha peak.
In springs or early winters in India, one will feel mesmerized finding himself in layers of fresh snow amidst the tall pine forests and the white snowy meadows. The first fresh snow is something one cannot just afford to miss. Get into some soul searching in the calmness and serenity of the place.
Kedarkantha trekking is pretty strenuous and is steep at places. You are in the middle of white desert. Gaiters are must if you are trekking in the snow for the first time. The scenery on the way to the summit is captivating and you can never get enough it. A 360 degree view of the Himalayan Garhwal Range, winds blowing at 70 kmph and the Shiva Trishul define this place.
